About Carla

 

Carla discovered Yoga in 2002. She left her first Yoga class feeling happy and energized and wanting more! She believes that the practice of Yoga is an ever developing and evolving path that warms the heart, helps to focus the mind, and assists us in the management of every day challenges. As we work on stilling the mind and allowing ourselves to be breathed we are able to truly be in the present moment.” 

 

Her passion for Yoga and guiding others in their Yoga journey led her to pursue Yoga teacher certification.  She was certified through Namaste USA and is an experienced registered Yoga teacher at the 500-hour level (E-RYT 500 ) with Yoga Alliance. She also holds a therapeutic yoga certification. 

There are  many wonderful teachers and students that inspire, inform and energize Carla's approach to teaching. Her teaching style focuses on how the yoga poses can best serve students and their individual needs. Her classes will help you deeply relax and at the same time build strength and flexibility. Carla likes to incorporate 'mini'   vinyasas  within the context of the Hatha practice to help challenge and energize the body and mind.


Carla believes that Yoga should be accessible for every body. Her compassionate teaching approach will guide you safely through your practice.
